Examination

Examination is Annual system. Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar conducts the Examination during the month of April-May every year.

In addition, College conducts its House Test during the month of December every year.

University Rules:

1. student, in order to be eligible for filling the University Examination Form shall be required to:

  • Attend not less than 75% of the full course of lectures delivered in class in each of the subjects / papers offered in theory and practical (if any) separately.
  • Attending all papers in the house test

2. As per the University Rules, 10% weightage of the marks secured by the student in the House Test in each paper shall be credited to the final result of the student.


3. If a student after completion of a regular course of study and after being duly sent up by the College fills the University Exam. Form and receives Admit Card, but fails to appear in the examinations or fails in the Annual examination, such student, on the recommendation of the Principal, may appear in the next two consecutive examinations as Late College Candidate without attending classes.


4. Students are to fill their exam. form personally and if they wrongly fill in certain subject combinations and appear in other subjects, University will cancel the exam. In such cases, responsibility will lie solely with the students. SO ALL STUDENTS ARE TO BE VERY CAREFUL DURING FILLING OF UNIVERSITY EXAM. FORM DURING JAN' 08.


5. Candidates of Ist, IInd & IIIrd year of degree Pass course who obtain 35% marks (theory and practical separately) in aggregate but fail in one subject obtaining not less than 25% marks in theory and practical separately, shall be permitted to appear in that subject in the next ‘University Examination’, as Compartmental students and are to fill up forms for Compartmental and regular examinations separately. A student to whom this concession is granted shall be allowed to join next higher class and can appear in both the
examinations simultaneously. If he / she does not clear the lower examination in one chance, he / she will be reverted to the lower class.

 

6. STUDENTS GET ONLY ONE CHANCE TO CLEAR THE COMPARTMENTAL EXAM. AND ONLY IN IMMEDIATE NEXT UNIVERSITY EXAM.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WHILE FILLING UP UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION FORMS:

i. College Identity Card.
ii. University Registration Card – Original & 1 Xerox copy.
iii. Class XII Marks Sheet – Original & 1 Xerox copy (For Ist Year).
iv. Ist Year Marks Sheet–Original & 1 Xerox copy (For IInd Year).
v. Ist & IInd Year Mark Sheets – Original & 1 Xerox copy each (For IIIrd Year).
vi. Recent Passport Size photographs (3 copies) with name and class written on the backside.
