The Jawaharlal Nehru College Library is one of the richest and well-equipped libraries in the North-Eastern Region. It offers ideal opportunities to the students as well as to the teachers and other faculty members for enrichment of knowledge and research work. At present the library is stacked with over 35,000 volumes pertaining to various disciplines. The students can borrow books as per rules. The Jawaharlal Nehru College Library is one of the richest and well-equipped libraries in the North-Eastern Region. Itoffers ideal opportunities to the students as well as to the teachers and other staff members for enrichment of knowledge and research work. At present the library is stacked with over 37,000 volumes pertaining to various disciplines, rare books and Reference books. The Library subscribes to a number of International, National, Regional and local news papers and different types of magazines. Library provides a very congenial atmosphere for the students to use library materials in their leisure hours. Those engaged in research work are provided with special cubicles.
The following personnel are entitled to enrol themselves as members.
All members of the Library can borrow books as per rules.

The Library remains open on all working days from 10.00 a.m. to 03.30 p.m.
A member who infringes rules shall be liable to forfeit his/her privilege of admission and borrowing of books from the library. The students should contact the Librarian for Borrowers‟ Cards.
COLLEGE MAGAZINE:
The College publishes a magazine “VOYAGE” annually with contributions from the teachers, students and others with a view to provide an outlet to express themselves. The College magazine provides an excellent opportunity to the students to develop, practice and exhibit their literary skills.
